About the Position
The Landkreis Schaumburg is hiring a central applications administrator for its Digitalization & IT team. The role involves managing Microsoft 365, DMS/E-Akte, and other central platforms, supporting digital transformation in public administration.
Responsibilities
- Administer central applications and platforms (M365, DMS/E-Akte, standard applications, and workplace environment).
- Manage configurations, updates, maintenance, availability, performance, and security/compliance for central systems.
- Maintain user accounts, groups, organization units, permissions, and licenses in Active Directory and central applications.
- Support technical onboarding and offboarding (accounts, access, permissions).
- Perform second-level support for issues related to central applications, Windows, and Citrix environments.
- Work closely with first-level support, handle escalated requests, document solutions.
- Support introduction and further development of M365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and DMS/E-Akte.
- Create guidelines and training materials; conduct workshops and training for departments.
- Maintain operations manuals, document system configurations, and contribute to digital workplace concepts.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree or comparable degree in computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, media informatics, or related field, OR completed 3-year IT vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) with documented multi-year professional experience.
- Experience with Active Directory, user management, groups, permissions, and license management.
- Knowledge of Windows systems, Citrix environments, or administration of central applications.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, especially Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Basic knowledge of DMS/E-Akte or interest in learning document management systems.
- Experience in second-level support and structured error analysis.
- Basic understanding of IT security, data protection, and permission concepts.
- Enjoy explaining technical topics and creating training materials or instructions.
- Willingness for continuous professional development, e.g., Microsoft or central platform technologies.
