About the Position

Adtran is looking for a Junior Software Engineer with experience in TypeScript and AWS to join their team. The role involves working on Intellifi, a cloud-based SaaS platform for internet service providers, focusing on building and extending backend services using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Implement new features and enhance existing software components.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for implemented modules.
  • Troubleshoot and fix software bugs across all testing phases.
  • Contribute to delivering incremental software releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript.
  • Experience building microservices on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Polish (C1) and communicative English (B2).
  • Preferred: Experience contributing to large-scale, production software
  • Preferred: Familiarity with IaC (AWS CDK, CloudFormation), CI/CD (Jenkins), and observability tools (CloudWatch, XRay)
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of Python or another additional programming language
  • Preferred: Interest in networking technologies and IoT
