Front End Software Engineer (Js, UI)

RouteSmart Technologies Inc. seeks a Front-End Software Engineer to design, code, and support web applications. The role involves creating responsive interfaces, integrating back-end services, and using modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS and Material UI.

• Create and implement website layouts and user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Develop well-structured, efficient, and testable code adhering to best software development practices
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs or errors in web applications
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases to ensure seamless functionality
• Collaborate with web designers and back-end developers to match visual design and functionality requirements
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices
• Implement web application security measures and session management protocols
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies to enhance product offerings

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX designer, or related role
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ECMA Script standards)
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS and Material UI
• Understanding of web application security, session management, and best coding practices
• Experience integrating web applications with back-end services and databases
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
• Familiarity with GIS and mapping services is highly desirable
• Ability to collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders effectively
