Senior Software Engineer

Join BlackLine as a Senior Front-End Engineer and contribute to the modernization of our enterprise web platform. You’ll architect and implement micro-frontend App Shell architecture, migrate features from legacy .NET systems, and implement front-end standards within the team.

• Design and implement scalable front-end features
• Contribute to reusable component libraries
• Execute the migration from legacy .NET applications to modern React-based solutions
• Implement shared authentication and login workflows
• Configure URL routing for multiple apps on the same domain
• Enable inter-app communication
• Implement performance optimizations
• Champion code quality through peer code reviews
• Mentor junior developers

• 4–8 years of professional experience in front-end software development
• Expertise in JavaScript
• Expertise in TypeScript
• Expertise in React
• Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup)
• Solid understanding of micro-frontends
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
• Proficiency in unit testing and end-to-end testing using Jest, Testing Library, Vitest, and Playwright
• Deep understanding of design systems, including Storybook, design tokens, component-driven development, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks
• Ability to estimate deliverables accurately
