Software Engineer - E6 (Fullstack)

Whatfix is an AI platform advancing the 'userization' of enterprise applications. We are looking for a highly accomplished Full-Stack Software Engineer (E6) with deep hands-on expertise across frontend and backend systems to build scalable, AI-powered product capabilities.

• Design, architect, and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance full-stack systems
• Drive technical design discussions and define long-term architecture for critical product areas
• Build rich, performant user-facing experiences while ensuring seamless backend integration
• Ensure systems are designed for scalability, fault tolerance, security, and maintainability
• Actively participate in coding, design reviews, and debugging complex production issues
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to solve customer problems
• Identify technical bottlenecks and drive reusable, platform-level solutions
• Champion best practices across SDLC, testing, CI/CD, and observability

• 8–14 years of strong software engineering experience with proven ownership of complex systems
• Deep hands-on experience across both frontend (React, modern JS/TS, UI architecture) and backend (Java, Spring, REST, microservices)
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and large-scale application architecture
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), performance optimization, and high-availability systems
• Solid exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud-native development
• Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical articulation skills
