Full Stack Software Engineer (m/w/d)

We are a joint venture of Deutsche Bank and ManpowerGroup, successful since 1998 in filling vacancies in banking, finance, and insurance. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop modern web applications from requirements to production.

• Develop and operate modern, customer-oriented web applications across the entire software lifecycle
• Independently take over smaller features and clearly defined further developments
• Clarify functional and technical requirements with Product Owners, specialist departments, and software architects
• Evaluate different technical solution paths and communicate their advantages and disadvantages
• Implement new functions with TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot
• Develop clean, well-structured, and maintainable software
• Design and implement understandable and reliable APIs
• Ensure quality of solutions through automated tests and code reviews
• Accompany applications to release and support stable production operation
• Set up monitoring and alerting, and help analyze and fix errors
• Create understandable and practical technical documentation
• Participate in technical decisions within the team
• Contribute experience to agile meetings, technical workshops, and knowledge exchange
• Support the team in continuously improving development, quality, and deployment processes

• Completed degree with technical or scientific focus or comparable qualification and professional experience
• Solid practical experience in holistic development and operation of modern web applications
• Very good knowledge of TypeScript and Angular
• Practical experience in backend development with Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot
• Experience with clean APIs and automated tests
• Clean Code, maintainable software, and high code quality are standard
• Experience with CI/CD processes and different development, test, and production environments
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Worked in a cloud-native environment, ideally with Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and requirements for reliable production operation
• Ability to quickly get familiar with existing codebases, system landscapes, and development processes
• Responsible, structured, solution-oriented, and reliable work style
• Ability to explain technical contexts and potential conflicts clearly
• Enjoy working with different departments and contacts
• Negotiation-proof German and English skills
