Senior Frontend Engineer

Join the team behind ITLead — the AI-driven career platform that helps thousands of European developers practice real interviews, match their CV against live vacancies and land senior offers. You will own the candidate-facing surface end-to-end: vacancy discovery, the match-insight widget, the mock-interview flow, and everything users touch on the way to applying. We work in small, autonomous squads — code, ship, measure, repeat.

• Drive the architecture of the candidate-facing Next.js app (App Router, RSC, edge runtime).
• Own the Match Insight + Mock Interview surfaces from spec to release, including instrumentation.
• Pair with backend engineers on API contracts; treat zod schemas as the single source of truth.
• Set the bar for accessibility, performance budgets and unit / e2e test coverage on the front.
• Mentor mid-level engineers via PR reviews and design discussions.

• 5+ years building production SPAs, the last 2+ in a senior role.
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript and the React 18+ ecosystem (hooks, suspense, RSC).
• Hands-on with Next.js 14+ in production, including App Router and server components.
• Comfortable with state management at scale: React Query, Redux Toolkit or equivalents.
• Strong CSS / SCSS chops; pixel-honest implementation of designs.
• Track record of shipping accessible (WCAG AA) and performance-budgeted UIs.
• Pragmatic about testing — Vitest / Jest + Playwright in your toolbelt.
• GraphQL or tRPC experience is a plus.
• Working proficiency in English; Dutch or Ukrainian is a bonus.
