Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join an international product company developing enterprise-grade network security solutions used by thousands of organizations worldwide. You will become part of the Security & Compliance engineering team, working on a complex core product and building scalable backend services using modern technologies.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs
• Develop microservices and distributed backend solutions
• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Neo4j
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
• Collaborate closely with international cross-functional Agile teams
• Continuously improve code quality and engineering best practices

• 3+ years of commercial Java development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Experience building microservices
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j or similar)
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of data modeling and scalable architectures
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
• Kotlin experience (or willingness to learn)
• Kafka or other messaging systems
• Reactive Programming
• GraphQL
• CI/CD experience
• Networking or cybersecurity background
• Angular knowledge
