Frontend Development Internship

As a Frontend Development Intern at Nedap, you will work on shared frontend solutions that support multiple product teams. Your role involves developing reusable UI components and ensuring consistency across interfaces while optimizing CI/CD processes.

• develop and improve reusable UI components
• ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across interfaces
• enable components to be used in different visual styles (e.g. dark mode or product-specific themes)
• investigate how other teams can safely add their own components
• contribute to modular frontend solutions within larger applications
• optimize build, test, and release processes (CI/CD)
• help transition to new technologies and architectures

• bachelor-level (HBO) student
• interest in frontend development or platform engineering
• curiosity about how software is built, maintained, and used across teams
• basic knowledge of JavaScript (experience without frameworks is a plus)
• interest in modern frontend technologies such as web components (e.g. Lit) or Vue.js
• affinity with CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions) is a plus
• willingness to quickly learn and adopt new concepts
