Junior DevOps Engineer

Codefather is an ambitious Ukrainian IT company developing modern solutions for businesses and users worldwide. They seek a Junior DevOps Engineer who is eager to grow professionally and support their projects, with a focus on process automation, CI/CD, and cloud solutions.

• Assisting in setting up, optimizing, and maintaining pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for application build and deployment automation.
• Deployment and maintenance of testing (Staging) and production (Production) environments.
• Packaging microservices, backends (Python/Node.js), and Web3 modules into Docker containers.
• Analyzing logs, identifying bottlenecks, and troubleshooting basic server issues in close collaboration with development teams.
• Continuous professional growth and deep learning of AWS architecture and DevOps practices under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

• Confident in Linux (command line, basic administration), understanding of protocols and network interaction (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Websockets);
• Basic understanding and educational (or pet project) experience with AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, etc.);
• Confident understanding of Docker principles and ability to write configurations for Docker Compose;
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery processes, practical experience with GitHub Actions;
• Basic scripting skills for automation (in Python or Bash);
• Understanding of principles and basic administration of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and caching systems (Redis).
