Senior Software Engineer

A leading global investment firm is looking for a Sr. Frontend UI Developer to join an engineering group supporting its Equities business. You’ll build sophisticated, highly interactive applications used by investment and engineering teams to understand performance, risk, positions and market information in real time. The engineering challenges sit at the intersection of complex financial data, distributed systems and modern UI development.

• Build sophisticated, highly interactive applications used by investment and engineering teams to understand performance, risk, positions and market information in real time.
• Translate complex requirements into elegant interfaces.
• Work closely with sophisticated technical users.

• Expert-level React and TypeScript experience
• Experience building complex, data-intensive web applications
• Strong knowledge of state management, component architecture and frontend system design
• Experience with visualization, charting, grids or other highly interactive UI tooling
• Ability to work closely with sophisticated technical users and translate complex requirements into elegant interfaces
• Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals

• Competitive base salary up to $400k
• Guaranteed yearly bonus bringing total compensation to $600,000-850,000
