Medior+ DevOps engineer

Levi9 Technology Services is seeking a DevOps engineer to join a team developing a digital advertising platform for a major media group in Belgium and the Netherlands. The role involves designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security and reliability.

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure and solutions on AWS
• Develop and improve the release process (automation, versioning, rollback strategies, reduced lead time)
• Integrate and maintain CI/CD tools and pipeline
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to post-incident improvements
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other teams, and document processes and solutions

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps / SRE / infrastructure experience
• AWS: practical experience with core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch), plus ECS/EKS or Lambda
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation/CDK
• CI/CD: experience building and maintaining pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline
• Release management: understanding of deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling)
• Containers: Docker and a working knowledge of orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
• Scripting: Bash and Python (or another scripting language)
• Linux: administration and troubleshooting skills
• Security practices: least-privilege IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and secure pipeline configuration
• Experience with Git and version control best practices: branching/versioning strategies, pull/merge request workflows
• Communication: ability to explain technical topics clearly, work in a team, and take ownership of tasks
• Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
• Security tooling in pipelines (SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, SAST/DAST)
• Experience with cost optimization (FinOps) on AWS
• AWS certification
