.NET Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a .NET Engineer to join their team in Ukraine. The role involves designing and implementing scalable data solutions using C#, developing back-end systems, and collaborating with global teams. Ciklum is a custom product engineering company with a global team of over 4,000 developers.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance solutions on the platform
• Integrate external datasets and build robust, scalable data pipelines
• Develop and maintain back-end systems using C#
• Set and enforce high-quality coding standards, including source control practices using Git and branching strategies
• Collaborate with global R&D and software teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
• Troubleshoot complex software, infrastructure, and automation challenges
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and DevOps innovations
• Align with project managers to track work items and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Document technical solutions and delivery methodologies clearly and effectively

• At least 3 years of professional experience with .NET and C#
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred
• Distributed systems and microservices experience is required
• Working on an enterprise grade solution is an advantage
• Experience with Kubernetes is considered as a plus
• Proven ability to quickly understand existing systems and code, including reverse engineering complex codebases
• Strong, methodical approach to debugging and troubleshooting complex issues
• Solid understanding of object oriented design principles and common design patterns
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server
• Good knowledge of RESTful services and API design
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proven experience in developing new features, enhancements, and contributing to ongoing product development
