About the Position

Fineline Global is a rapidly growing world leader in the printed circuit board (PCB) industry, providing solutions from prototype development to full-scale production. The company is seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary IT support contact for employees in Ukraine while contributing to first-line Helpdesk support across the global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support for employees in Ukraine.
  • Provide first-line support for hardware, Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, VPN, and standard company applications.
  • Record, manage, and follow up on support requests through the Helpdesk system.
  • Prepare and configure laptops and user accounts for new employees.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes in cooperation with HR and hiring managers.
  • Prepare and configure laptops before a new employee’s first working day.
  • Install required company software and apply the appropriate settings.
  • Manage IT offboarding activities, including access removal, equipment returns, data handling, and preparation of devices for reuse.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and coordinate equipment delivery, replacement, repair, and return.
  • Assist the global IT team with Helpdesk requests and user support activities.
  • Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT specialists when required.

Requirements

  • Current residence in Ukraine.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook and Teams.
  • Understanding computer hardware, user accounts, permissions, networking, and VPN connectivity.
  • Ability to install and configure standard business applications.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Organized approach to task management, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • High sense of responsibility, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently.
