About the Position

The Fourth Law is a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of autonomy technologies for drones, with solutions codified to NATO standards and used in over 50 SOU units and 20+ drone manufacturers. The role focuses on ensuring the quality of hardware and software components of autonomous robotic systems throughout the development to production stages.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory and integration testing of hardware and software components of autonomous robotic systems.
  • Participate in building and maintaining quality control processes and elements of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Conduct inspections, verifications, and product validations at various development and production stages.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and logistics teams to identify, track, and resolve defects. Support investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.
  • Document test results, defects, and quality status clearly and consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Practical experience in QA, preferably with hardware, embedded systems, or electronics.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned quality-related tasks.
  • High attention to detail, structured, and results-oriented approach.
  • Basic understanding of discrepancy handling processes, defect tracking, and corrective actions.
  • Programming skills (Python, C++) for test automation will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies (Six Sigma, TQM, PDCA cycles) is a plus.
  • Certifications in quality management (ASQ CQE, CSQE, or equivalents) are a plus.
