Lead Frontend Engineer (React)

Join Zeely as a Lead Frontend Engineer and work on a product that scales in Tier-1 markets and directly impacts business metrics. We are looking for a leader with 8+ years of engineering experience and 3+ years of managing teams of 10+ engineers.

• Define and develop the frontend architecture for a complex AI product on modern React stack.
• Lead and develop the Frontend team (10+ engineers): establish technical standards, mentor engineers, and maintain engineering culture.
• Make key technical decisions with complete ownership – from architectural logic to implementation and long-term product impact.
• Work with the entire SDLC – from idea and design alignment to release and measurable product results.
• Build and structure the code review process, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and clean architecture.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, including testing strategy and technical documentation.
• Work in a continuous delivery environment with frequent releases.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to ensure business results, user convenience, and data-driven solutions.

• 3+ years of experience in a Lead / Team Lead role managing and mentoring teams of 10+ engineers in a fast-paced product environment.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with deep production expertise in React.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, including building scalable architecture and maintainable codebases.
• Experience defining and developing frontend architecture in high-load B2C products (100k+ users).
• Frontend stack (must-have): React.js + TypeScript.
• Redux Toolkit / RTK Query or TanStack React Query (production usage).
• Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui.
• React Hook Form.
• Vite.
• Experience with Next.js in real products.
• Pixel Perfect & UI quality.
