DevOps Engineer (Docker, HIPAA, High Availability)

We are building The Tongue Teacher — a fast-growing healthtech product in dental & orthodontics (global and especially US market). We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, security, and high availability (SLA 99.99%).

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / OVHcloud)
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and manage backend services (FastAPI)
• Work with Dockerized environments
• Ensure high availability (failover, load balancing)
• Implement backup strategies & disaster recovery
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging
• Optimize performance and infrastructure costs
• Ensure security best practices
• Prepare infrastructure for HIPAA-compliant environments (US medical data)

• 3+ years in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong experience with Docker and CI/CD
• Experience with AWS (preferred) or GCP
• Solid understanding of production systems, scaling, and failure handling
• Experience with monitoring and system reliability
• Autonomous, structured, and ownership mindset
• English — required for daily communication
