Senior React Native Engineer

At MWS, we connect global fanbases to game-worn culture by enabling customers to access game-used and signed shirts from top athletes. The Senior React Native Engineer will design and scale mobile applications to enhance user engagement on our platform, working within a cross-functional team alongside backend and frontend engineers.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality React Native mobile applications.
• Scaling the application to support a rapidly growing user base and increasing transaction volumes.
• Developing and launching innovative fan engagement features to enhance real-time interaction.
• Improving app performance and stability while integrating with our .NET backend and AWS-based infrastructure.
• Contributing to decisions regarding mobile scalability, native integrations (iOS/Android), and edge-enabled infrastructure.
• Providing technical guidance to junior developers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Strengthening standards through structured development, thorough code reviews, and the use of software design patterns.

• At least 7+ years of experience in mobile application development using React Native.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, modern mobile architecture principles, and performance optimization.
• Experience with scalable backend-driven platforms and modern cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
• Experience in native Android and/or iOS development is a significant plus.
• A proactive, ownership-driven attitude with an ambition to build best-in-class digital products.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to thrive in high-performance, cross-functional teams.
• An EU passport or valid working rights for the Netherlands.
