Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer with the Dutch Ministry of Defence, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing technical solutions within complex data science platforms. You will work at the intersection of technology and business, ensuring the scalability and security of the platform landscape, while also mentoring junior engineers.

• Designing and developing data science platforms
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab CI and GitHub Actions
• Automating infrastructure and platform components with Ansible and Helm
• Implementing and managing Kubernetes-based platforms
• Establishing monitoring and observability with tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to align on technical solutions

• Deep knowledge in DevOps practices
• 4 to 6 years of experience in the DevOps field
• 4 to 6 years of experience with Linux distributions
• 4 to 6 years of experience with containerization and Kubernetes
• 2 to 4 years of experience with GitOps tooling like ArgoCD
• 2 to 4 years of experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI
• Experience with Python and/or Go
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch
