Senior Data Engineer

A role where you contribute to the safety of the Netherlands using the latest technology: this is what you get as a Senior Data Engineer within a new program at the Air and Space Operations Command (CLRS). You will work on building business-critical solutions supporting data-driven decision-making.

• Ensure data is reliable, secure and available for data science and AI applications
• Work on robust data infrastructure within a highly secured private cloud environment
• Design and build smart data pipelines and a future-proof data architecture
• Transform raw data from many sources into reliable and usable insights
• Manage and optimize ETL processes
• Develop reusable and broadly applicable data engineering solutions
• Promote knowledge development and advise on data engineering within CLRS

• WO in Mathematics, Physics, Data, Information Management, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or Technical Management
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with big data, machine learning, advanced deep learning, deep reinforcement learning, and advanced statistics
• Good command of Python, SQL, R, PowerBI, Agile, and Docker
• Experience working in IT projects and multidisciplinary teams

• A monthly salary between €4,867.00 and €6,679.00
• An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) consisting of cash (16.33% of your gross annual salary) and time
