Senior System Architect / Engineer (m/w/d) – AI Infrastructure & Automation

Join R+V, one of the largest insurers in Germany, in the Operations and IT department. The role involves designing architectures for AI-supported DevOps and platform solutions, aiming for a secure and stable ecosystem to enable faster software delivery.

• Design the architecture of AI-supported DevOps and platform landscapes.
• Define processes and technical requirements for ARTs and teams in the DevSecOps process.
• Create and design architectures for AI-supported DevOps and platform solutions.
• Consult Product Managers and Business Owners while enabling DevSecOps teams with technologies and tools.
• Develop architecture guidelines and policies, ensuring compliance across ARTs.
• Monitor trends regarding AI, Cloud, and Automation and prepare decision templates and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, RTE, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineers.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant comparable work experience.
• Extensive experience in IT architecture within large organizations.
• Understanding of architectural challenges of AI models and experience with complex DevOps processes.
• Proficiency in modern platform and automation technologies (e.g., CI/CD, Public Cloud, Infrastructure-as-Code).
• Ability to articulate visions at both management and developer levels.
• Assess the strategic relevance of AI market trends.
• Very good command of German (minimum B2 level).
