(Senior) Software Engineer – Infrastructure Applications

Brainlab, a health technology company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to maintain and evolve its base infrastructure applications. The role requires significant experience in software development, with responsibilities including modernization of existing applications and collaboration with clinical application engineers.

• be part of a powerful agile team of software engineers

• ensure high-quality software by adequate software design, data structures and good code test coverage
• closely work together with software engineers of the clinical end-applications and related architects

• professional experience in software development
• degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline
• 2+ years professional experience in object-oriented software development (preferably C++, C# and/or Typescript plus modern Web technologies)
• profound understanding of concepts and trends in computer software and technology
• ability to quickly grasp new contexts and get familiar with new tools
• well-organized and clearly structured, agile working style
• open mind-set, finding creative solutions for challenges on a daily basis
• hands-on mentality
• ideally experience with clinical data formats and protocols like FHIR, DICOM and/or HL7
