Full Stack Engineer (Python)

Senior Full-Stack Engineer position at Built Different in the Netherlands. Join a small team focused on transforming how regulated firms onboard new clients, shifting from lengthy, manual processes to an efficient platform. You will have a direct impact by designing and building secure systems, with opportunities to work on both backend and frontend development.

• Building and owning backend services in Python and FastAPI on GCP
• Designing secure, reliable systems where data sensitivity genuinely matters
• Turning messy, real-world compliance workflows into clean product logic
• Using AI dev tools to move fast without cutting corners on quality
• Jumping into the React/TypeScript frontend whenever the product needs it

• Strong backend experience with Python, FastAPI and ideally GCP
• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript and frameworks such as React
• Ability to ship fast, learn faster, and treat AI tools as a force multiplier
• Desire for code to be in front of customers within days
• Prefer real ownership in a small team than a title in a large one
• Bonus points for experience in a regulated or security-sensitive space

• Salary up to €95k + benefits
