Fullstack Software Engineer (m/f/d) InsurTech

CHECK24 is Germany's leading digital comparison platform. They are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to build high-quality software solutions for the insurance and financial sector using modern technologies like React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AI-powered capabilities.

• Designing and developing complex features and services, taking full ownership of your work
• Analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into sustainable, scalable software solutions
• Implementing appropriate testing, reviews, e2e testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring to ensure high code and system quality
• Actively driving the continuous improvement of our system architecture and engineering best practices
• Continuously improving performance and user experience
• Integrating AI functionality (LLMs) into existing and new components in a production-ready manner

• A completed degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with excellent academic performance
• Professional experience in software development, ideally in agile environments, with hands-on experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and modern software development practices
• Solid understanding of Linux, DevOps environments, and CI/CD processes
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High level of ownership and drive to continuously improve systems, optimize performance, and deliver high-quality solutions
• Ability to work independently, quickly learn new technologies, and collaborate effectively in agile, cross-functional teams
• Very good English skills (C1); German skills (B2) are a plus
