Java Softwareentwickler (w/m/d)

As an experienced software developer, you will play a central role in the development and ongoing enhancement of Java-based web applications to support the design and recalculation of gears and motors.

• Conceptualization, modeling, and implementation of web-based software solutions for the development and recalculation of gears and motors
• Further development, maintenance, and optimization of existing Java applications focusing on code quality and sustainability
• Ensuring software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration pipelines
• Collaboration in the design and integration of modern software architectures utilizing microservices, containerization, and cloud-based approaches
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and international stakeholders in the context of digitization and optimization projects

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge in Java and Spring, as well as familiarity with common build and version control tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Git
• Good knowledge of relational databases, e.g., Oracle SQL, and experience in domain-driven software design and implementation
• Experience with microservices architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Very good command of German and good command of English
