PP | Senior Backend Developer (PHP) | Fintech | Delft | 95k

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (PHP) who thrives in a tech first environment and wants to have a direct impact on millions of users. You will contribute both strategically and hands-on to the core of our platform, working with developers who know payments inside out.

• Create and maintain a high availability platform that processes millions of secure transactions every day around the globe.
• Break big systems into clean microservices that stay fast when traffic hits across Europe and the UK.
• Level up database performance and introduce performance tuning that keeps us fast and reliable under pressure.
• Build new in platform payment flows that move money in ways traditional e-commerce never had to.
• Create the APIs and tools platforms need to grow without waiting on us.
• Help teammates through complex engineering trade offs and communicate technical topics clearly across the organization.

• Deep experience with PHP and MySQL, building stable, well performing systems within a Fintech environment is a MUST!
• Build and ship at a senior level in Laravel or Symfony.
• Worked on high traffic platforms or microservice architectures.
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, caching, queues, optimization, scalability, and performance tuning are part of your everyday toolkit.
• Experience with Redis or scalable microservices is a strong plus.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to people outside engineering.

• An all in salary up to €95.000 annually, incl 8%, 13th month, depending on your experience and skill!
