Senior Software Engineer Industriële Automatisering

As a Senior Software Engineer in Industrial Automation, you are the technical linchpin in challenging automation projects. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems that form the backbone of complex industrial installations.

• Designing and programming PLC control systems for industrial automation projects
• Developing SCADA systems and HMI interfaces for process visualization and control
• Carrying out software engineering tasks according to structured methods
• Testing, validating, and commissioning automation systems at customer sites
• Analyzing and solving complex technical issues in existing installations
• Coaching junior software engineers in their technical development
• Contributing to innovation by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies
• Maintaining customer contacts and advising on optimization possibilities

• At least 6 to 10 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer in industrial automation
• Completed HBO or WO education in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science or comparable
• Extensive knowledge of PLC programming, preferably Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell
• Experience with SCADA systems such as WinCC, Wonderware or Ignition
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent command of the Dutch language in spoken and written form
• Willingness to occasionally guide projects on-site at customers
