Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Adyen is looking for a motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Customer Risk team in Amsterdam. This role involves leading the development of a next-generation risk system, building and managing ML models, and ensuring the safety and integrity of their payment platform.

• Act as the foundational ML Engineer for the Customer Risk team
• Design and scale production-ready ML models for prediction, ranking, and embedding
• Develop the core ML infrastructure required to power the risk engine
• Introduce advanced software design and modular architecture to modeling domains
• Collaborate with product team and leadership to drive the risk roadmap.

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning and software development lifecycle
• Proficient in Python, Java, or C/C++
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, LightGBM
• Familiarity with large-scale data manipulation using Spark, SQL (Trino), and Pandas
• Operational knowledge of MLFlow, Airflow, and Argo-workflows
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization
• 5+ years in designing end-to-end ML lifecycles
• 3+ years of experience in software design and architecture
