Lead software engineer

IBS Loonheffingen (Belastingdienst) is looking for a lead software engineer with vision, technical depth, and the ability to elevate a team. You will determine the technical direction of the team and ensure the quality of our software products and how we build them.

• Determine the technical direction of the team
• Make informed choices for frameworks, tools, and development methodologies
• Translate solution architecture into executable solution design
• Set development frameworks and ensure modularity and maintainability of software
• Serve as the technical point of contact within the agile team
• Validate and advise on technical interfaces and ensure quality via SIG/Sonar

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior technical contact in an agile team
• Proven knowledge of architecture, solution design, and system architecture
• Experience with Java, CI/CD, test automation, and modern development methods
• Knowledge of DevOps, container hosting (OpenShift), SAFe, and Scrum
• Experience with integrations, APIs, databases, and preferably cloud environments
