About the Position

This position offers the responsibility for the administration of complex Linux landscapes and the strategic expansion of an On-Premises container platform on Kubernetes. You will work closely with the application, storage, network, and security areas to ensure smooth system operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administration, monitoring and proactive troubleshooting of complex Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and cluster architectures.
  • Independent design, construction, and continuous scaling of a modern On-Premises container infrastructure based on RHEL OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Standardization of deployment processes and automation of routine tasks using Ansible.
  • Creation, maintenance and continuous updating of detailed technical architecture and operating concepts.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed IT studies (Computer Science, Business Informatics) or comparable technical expertise through relevant professional experience.
  • Deep administrative expertise in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or comparable enterprise Linux distributions.
  • Solid practical experience in managing Kubernetes clusters (ideally OpenShift) as well as extensive technical knowledge in the field of automation with Ansible.
  • High degree of personal responsibility, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form are mandatory, complemented by good English language skills.
