Embedded Developer

The company is active in the manufacturing industry, developing and producing control systems and machines for industrial applications. They focus on designing embedded systems and complete machine controls within multidisciplinary teams.

• Engineering, testing, and periodic deployment at customer sites for commissioning and technical support
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded control software for machines and devices
• Engineer and implement robust C++ modules for embedded systems
• Optimize execution and memory usage
• Work in an Agile team following Scrum or Kanban
• Organize work in an iterative and measurable way
• Write and maintain automated tests and perform integration and system tests according to a test-driven approach
• Collaborate with R&D and hardware colleagues to translate requirements into concrete software solutions
• Participate in code reviews and commissioning

• Completed HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or Mechatronics
• 2-5 years relevant experience in embedded software development, preferably in machine or system development
• Proficient in C and C++ and experienced with additional scripting languages such as Python
• Experience with embedded toolchains, hardware debuggers, version control, and CI/CD principles
• Experience in setting up and executing automated tests and integration processes
• Practical experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer-oriented support
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English and the ability to translate technical requirements clearly

• Salary: €2900 - €4800 per month
• 25 vacation days
