Software Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

AUGENTIC is seeking a proactive and technically grounded Engineering Manager to lead the development efforts for their software platform 'Qomitto'. This position combines strategic leadership with technical oversight, focusing on managing a team of developers to ensure efficient software development and quality assurance.

• Design and optimize the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from initial planning to production deployment.
• Establish high standards for software quality through comprehensive testing suites.
• Oversee seamless transitions across development environments to ensure platform stability.
• Drive the ScrumBan model to optimize team throughput and manage deadlines.
• Coordinate with Software Architects and Product Owners to manage release cycles and quality metrics.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, including 3 years as Engineering Manager.
• Strong mastery of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a quality-first mindset.
• Fluency in English.
