Senior Python Software Engineer - (Data&Connectors)

DataRobot delivers AI that maximizes impact and minimizes business risk. Our platform and applications integrate into core business processes so teams can develop, deliver, and govern AI at scale. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to expand our Data&Connectors engineering team, focusing on backend development for our GenAI platform and Agentic applications.

• Develop, test and support features of DataRobot with a focus on data connectivity and data processing capabilities.
• Own and drive key projects and milestones while fostering a culture of communication.
• Write and maintain automated tests.
• Communicate with product and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Provide and receive feedback in a constructive manner, including code reviews.
• Collaborate with peers and solve problems proactively.
• Engage in engineering on-call escalated support for services.

• 4 to 10+ years of experience writing high-quality code in a collaborative, cloud-native environment preferably using Python.
• Experience working with cloud platforms: designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Understanding of distributed systems principles related to scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach.
• Effective communication skills to connect with both technical and non-technical audiences in English.
