Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you will work on automating and standardizing operational processes within a large enterprise IT environment. You will develop smart automation solutions that reduce management effort, eliminate error-prone manual work, and improve service quality.

• Automate management and continuity processes within Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
• Develop scripts, scheduled jobs, and system integrations
• Automate the archiving of repositories, projects, and spaces
• Develop custom macros and listeners within the Atlassian stack
• Implement integrations with systems like ITSM, IMS, and Mattermost
• Work with Atlassian REST APIs, webhooks, and database queries
• Support repository management within Git/Bitbucket
• Contribute to scalable and maintainable automation solutions
• Collaborate with development and management teams within an enterprise environment

• Minimum HBO work and thinking level
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer
• Experience with Python
• Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with software development and automation
• Experience with Atlassian REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations
• Experience with Git and/or Bitbucket repository management
• Analytical, independent, and solution-oriented
• Clear communication in both Dutch and English

• Salary between €4,500 and €5,500 gross per month based on a full-time employment
