Junior Backend Engineer (m/f/x)

KONUX is a dynamic and fast-growing technology company transforming the railway industry with AI-powered solutions. We are seeking a Junior Backend Engineer to contribute to building backend services and work closely with experienced engineers, emphasizing learning and collaboration.

• Develop backend services and automation supporting products for customers and internal users
• Implement features, fix bugs, and improve existing systems with guidance
• Participate in discussions about customer problems and product improvements
• Collaborate with Backend, DevOps, and Data Engineers to build reliable solutions
• Maintain a clean and consistent codebase by following standards and participating in code reviews

• Work/internship experience in writing production code in Python and/or Java (Spring Boot)
• Basic understanding of backend development concepts (APIs, services, data handling)
• Exposure to at least one database technology (SQL or NoSQL)
• Hands-on exposure to GenAI technologies
• Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Strong willingness to learn and grow
