About the Position
AUMOVIO is an independent technology and electronics company offering solutions for safe, connected, and autonomous mobility. As a Senior Local IT Specialist, you will administer server and cloud environments, drive standardization, and enable automation in IT operations, especially in the context of autonomous driving.
Responsibilities
- Drive new innovations and support stable IT services for the development of autonomous driving.
- Collaborate with departments (Autonomous Driving) to find solutions for server, data center, backup, and cloud requirements.
- Ensure operational management of data centers, server environments, and cloud platforms.
- Work as part of the IT Operations team to manage IT solutions at ADC locations.
- Manage vulnerabilities and assist in procurement and administrative processes.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Manage and control external partners and service providers.
- Support during audits.
Requirements
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable field, ideally with several years of professional experience.
- Solid knowledge in handling various server virtualization and cloud technologies (Windows, Linux, VMWare, Docker, AWS, Azure), backup solutions, and data center operations.
- Familiarity with software development and modern automation technologies (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, AWS Code Deploy; Azure DevOps) as well as programming languages like PowerShell or Python.
- Certifications in server and cloud technologies and ITIL are desirable.
- Passion for server virtualization, data center management, and a proactive approach to ideas.
- Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent coordination and moderation skills.
- Self-motivation, planning, customer orientation, and willingness to travel (20%).
