SATCOM Ground Station & AI Software Engineer (d/f/m)

Airbus Defence & Space is working on a new satellite based communication system. As a Ground Station & AI Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, integration and validation of software for Mission and Ground Stations Management using AI technologies.

• Contribute to the design, development, integration and validation of software
• Analyse customer requirements and contribute to software requirements
• Support the definition of the Software Architecture
• Develop applicative solutions for Mission and Ground Station Management
• Coordinate subcontractors during the Design phase
• Conduct analysis on Software non-conformances, discrepancies and waivers
• Analyse data from validation tests to determine if systems meet specifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace, or related Engineering
• Considerable experience in Software Architecture & Development in Ground Segment
• Familiarity with ground stations concepts: RF chains, Antenna control Systems
• Experience in BackEnd / FrontEnd Software Architecture & Development principles
• Knowledge of AGILE Development Lifecycle
• Experience with Software IVV tools and methods
• Experience with development or integration of AI engines in Software products
• Knowledge of modern Systems Engineering techniques
• English fluent, German language skills are advantageous
