Senior Azure Platform Engineer (Kubernetes / Terraform)

As a Senior Azure Platform Engineer, you will work on building a scalable Azure Kubernetes platform and automating infrastructure with Terraform, impacting 1.1 million travelers daily at NS. You will contribute to the developer experience and help teams deliver software more efficiently through smart platform solutions and automation.

• Develop the container platform (Kubernetes / AKS).
• Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
• Automate deployments, processes, and platform management.
• Manage the lifecycle of cloud and platform components.
• Support DevOps teams in optimizing platform usage.
• Improve performance, security, and scalability.
• Actively contribute to the DevOps and platform community within NS.

• Minimum 5 years experience with Azure cloud development in complex environments.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
• Minimum 5 years experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Active automation skills with Bash and/or Python.
• Effective collaboration with different teams, connecting platform and development.
• Initiative in improving and automating processes.
• Clear communication in Dutch and English.

• Salary between €4,488 and €7,515 per month based on experience.
