Frontend Developer (m/w/d)

This role focuses on the development and continuous improvement of modern web front-ends for sensor applications, utilizing frontend technologies.

• Develop and enhance modern web frontends for sensor applications
• Hands-on development with modern frontend technologies (e.g., Angular/React/Vue, TypeScript)
• Maintain existing Java-based desktop applications (Java Swing/AWT)
• Integrate frontends with backend services via REST/HTTP APIs
• Refactor and restructure applications focusing on maintainability, performance, and scalability
• Implement and technically advance UI/UX concepts in collaboration with relevant departments
• Optimize usability, performance, and responsiveness
• Work with modern development processes and tools (Git, Code Reviews, CI/CD)
• Participate in agile software development in a Scrum team with active involvement in technical decisions

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or a comparable qualification
• Substantial experience in frontend development with modern technologies like React and TypeScript
• Good knowledge in developing and maintaining Java-based desktop applications
• Experience in integrating frontends with backend services via REST/HTTP APIs
• Proficient use of modern development tools and processes (Git, Code Reviews, CI/CD)
• A feel for UI/UX, usability, and performance/responsiveness optimization
• Structured, independent work style as well as teamwork and communication skills
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written
