Senior Java Developer

• Maintaining, managing and developing our fintech platform
• Working on automating the loan assessment process
• Integrating third party services for assessment checks
• Implementing logic to approve/deny applications based on our credit policy
• Working in compliance with the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM), De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and European privacy regulation (GPDR)

• Completed higher education (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, ICT, Software Engineering, or a similar field
• 7+ years of Java development experience (Java 11 or 17 preferred); OCP certification is a plus
• Experience with NodeJS/TypeScript
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum, Design Patterns, and enterprise Java frameworks, such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE
• Knowledge of SOA and service integration (message brokers, REST APIs)
• Familiar with DevOps tools (Docker/Kubernetes) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• WFT Consumer Credit certification or willingness to obtain it
