Full stack Engineer (Permanent | Backend focus)

Fullstack Engineer (Backend-Focused) role for a major Australian banking client in Sydney, working on digital transformation in Cash & Transactional Banking within a high-performing Technology team.

• Design and build resilient, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Leverage your fullstack toolkit, pairing solid backend logic with React frontend components.
• Implement, secure, and maintain high-throughput RESTful APIs using OAuth and JWT standards.
• Collaborate within an Agile framework, leveraging continuous integration and deployment pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Apply strong analytical, architectural, and design capabilities to solve technical bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

• Strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API architecture, and enterprise Java ecosystem patterns.
• Hands-on experience working with React for user interface components.
• Deep understanding of secure API design practices, including OAuth and JWT implementations.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Proven ability to analyze complex system issues and break down enterprise requirements into reliable, clean code.
