Junior Software Engineer (Cloud)

In this role, you will speed up the digital ambitions of clients by leveraging the power of Public Cloud. Within Deloitte Engineering, you will design, build, and manage modern cloud applications and the underlying platform infrastructure.

• Translate customer needs into scalable and secure cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Design, build, and test cloud-native applications using Spring Boot, .NET, Go, Java, Python, JavaScript, React
• Design, build, and automate cloud platform infrastructure (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation
• Collaborate with data, security, and UX specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Determine your own career path: choose your specialization, contribute to knowledge sharing, and initiate internal engineering initiatives

• Completed technical master's degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering) or bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Experience with a large cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Familiarity with DevOps practices such as writing unit tests and working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written (preferably also Dutch)
