Software Engineer

An innovative organisation in the non-profit and scientific research space is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on developing digital products that support ground-breaking scientific research and innovation initiatives.

• Developing software packages and technical solutions within a diverse research and innovation portfolio.
• Applying lean and Agile principles to develop high-quality, supportable code with minimal bugs.
• Collaborating with Solution Architects to design, maintain, and improve SaaS solutions.
• Partnering with Product Managers, Testers, and Agile Coaches to convert business challenges into technical solutions.
• Improving the accessibility, availability, performance, and security of digital products and websites.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Technical proficiency with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Experience working with AWS Serverless architectures and SaaS solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment and follow software engineering best practices.
• Legally authorized to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
