Senior Solution Architect Lageführungssystem (m/w/d)

As a primary digitalization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, secure, and efficient IT services domestically and abroad. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who want to further develop Bundeswehr IT in challenging digitalization projects.

• Design the technical architecture for IT solutions to enhance the situational awareness of the Bundeswehr.
• Translate strategic objectives into tangible architectures and create the technical basis for IT solutions.
• Transition classical systems to a modern target architecture or directly build new architectures based on cloud technology.
• Coordinate various specialized architects and act as the central solution architect to integrate technology usage in operational and new systems.
• Establish structures for service management and information security.

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least seven years of experience as an IT architect, solution architect, or in a similar architectural role within complex strategic IT projects.
• Expertise in classical and modern IT architecture management methods, with certifications in IT architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or CPSA and related tools such as Enterprise Architect, Visio, or draw.io being desirable.
• At least three years of experience in building data-centric analysis platforms in the areas of data fusion, databases, or applications for situational awareness systems or decision support systems, using modern tools, technologies, and methods such as advanced analytics, big data, cognitive computing, or AI based on modern cloud-native architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, Microservices, CI/CD).
• Desirable experience in the customer environment of the Bundeswehr, authorities, or global industrial companies, especially in the area of VSA-compliant architectures.
• High degree of responsibility, independence, and goal orientation with customer and service orientation.
