Software Developer Middleware m/w/d

As a Software Developer Middleware, you will play a central role in technologically advancing and integrating our middleware systems. You will develop modules, plugins, and extensions for our middleware systems as well as e-commerce platform, work on API implementation and optimization, and collaborate with various departments for requirements analysis and technical assessment.

• Development of modules, plugins, extensions, and integrations for our middleware systems and the e-commerce platform based on Shopware 6
• Design, implementation, and optimization of interfaces, APIs, and data flows (REST, JSON, XML, CSV)
• Further development and customization of existing business processes and technical customization of our middleware services to support ERP systems and webshop based on Shopware 6
• Analysis, optimization, and maintenance of backend processes and database logics
• Technical error analysis as well as 2nd and 3rd level support for middleware services
• Accompanying rollouts, updates, and quality assurance processes in the staging environment
• Close collaboration with product owners, project management, frontend development, business process management, IT and specialist departments for requirements analysis and technical assessment

• Completed training or degree in software development or a comparable qualification with corresponding programming experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in web development / backend development
• Very good knowledge in object-oriented programming, C# / .NET Framework, experience in object-oriented development and PHP technology stack
• Very good knowledge in the development of REST APIs and structured data exchange formats (JSON, XML)
• Good knowledge in well-known frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, Doctrine
• Solid SQL knowledge (MySQL or MS SQL Server, complex queries, stored procedures, performance optimization)
• Basic understanding of interfaces, data flows, and database-related logics
• Experience with Shopware 6
