Frontend Engineer - Platform - Mid level

FareHarbor creates powerful tools that enable clients to operate and grow. The role is about evolving the frontend platform to enable faster, reliable product development while collaborating with engineers across teams.

• Partner with product teams to design and deliver frontend solutions that align with platform standards.
• Drive incremental migration and modernization efforts within a large monolithic codebase.
• Identify shared problems across teams and develop scalable abstractions, utilities, and patterns.
• Improve developer experience through better tooling, documentation, and workflows.
• Contribute to and influence frontend architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support consistent, accessible, and maintainable frontend experiences.
• Help define and promote best practices in performance, testing, accessibility, and code organization.
• Act as a technical partner for frontend development across multiple teams.

• 3+ years of experience working with large-scale production codebases.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks like Vue (or React, Angular).
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and browser fundamentals.
• Experience working in complex frontend architectures.
• Interest in navigating and improving legacy or monolithic systems.
• Familiarity with build tools and CI/CD practices such as Webpack, Vite.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
