DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer – Kubernetes, Cloud & Automatisierung

Mid-Level | Aufbaurolle | Cloud Infrastructure. We are currently looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to actively build a scalable platform for multiple customer environments, focusing on modern Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

• Setup, operation and further development of Kubernetes-based customer environments
• Provisioning of cluster structures including networking, ingress, DNS, certificates and basic RBAC
• Collaboration on cloud and infrastructure setups, currently focusing on Azure/AKS or comparable managed Kubernetes environments
• Automation of infrastructure processes using Terraform, Bash and Ansible
• Development and further enhancement of CI/CD and GitOps processes, e.g. with GitLab CI/CD or similar tools
• Working with Helm-based deployments and standardized platform repositories
• Establishment of clean secret, key and certificate processes, e.g. via KeyVault, Vault or External Secrets
• Implementation and operation of monitoring, logging and alerting structures, e.g. with Prometheus, Grafana or Loki
• Participation in backup/restore, staging, release and incident processes
• Creation and maintenance of runbooks, handover documentation and technical operational standards
• Support in L1/L2 infrastructure support as well as in structured handover to customers and internal teams

• Technical affinity and willingness to delve into new infrastructure and platform topics
• Experience in Kubernetes / container orchestration
• Knowledge of Azure / AKS or comparable cloud/managed Kubernetes environments
• Proficiency in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD or comparable CI/CD tools
• Understanding of GitOps, e.g. Flux or ArgoCD
• Experience with Helm
• Ability in Bash scripting
• Knowledge of Ansible or comparable configuration management
• Understanding of monitoring/observability, e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Loki or comparable tools
• Experience in secrets management, certificate management or backup/restore concepts
• Experience operating production infrastructure environments
• Experience from a cloud service provider, datacenter, managed services or software development environment would be particularly suitable
