Software Developer E-Commerce Frontend (m/w/d)

As a Software Developer Frontend, you will shape the user experience of our E-Commerce platform based on Shopware 6, focusing on design, performance, and usability.

• Development and customization of Shopware 6 storefront themes and individual UI components
• Implementation of design guidelines (Figma, Adobe XD etc.) into performant, responsive frontends
• Development and extension of Shopware plugins with a focus on frontend functionalities
• Optimization of user experience and performance
• Adjustment and extension of Twig templates as well as SCSS and JavaScript structures
• Error analysis and bug fixing in the frontend
• Support in A/B tests and conversion optimization
• Close collaboration with product owners, project management, UX/UI designers, business process management, backend development, and departments
• Accompaniment of deployments, releases, and quality assurance measures in the staging environment

• Completed training or degree in software development or a comparable qualification with corresponding programming experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in frontend development
• Very good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), modern JavaScript (ES6+), and Twig templates
• Very good knowledge of Shopware 6 storefront and plugin system in the frontend
• Good knowledge of Vue.js, especially in the context of Shopware 6 administration and component development, and Webpack/build tools
• Experience with responsive design
• Proficient in browser debugging and performance analysis tools
