Systems Engineer – Pega (m/w/d)

As a primary digitalization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, secure, and efficient IT services both domestically and abroad, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the Bundeswehr's leadership and operational capabilities.

• Incident, Service Request, Change and Problem Management for the deployed systems
• Maintaining SLAs for tickets
• Maintaining and further developing technical documentation
• Integration of applications into Kubernetes clusters according to platform standards
• Connecting to central platform services (Ingress, DNS, Certificates, Secrets)
• Connecting to logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Incorporating applications into existing CI/CD pipelines
• Technical support for application and DevSecOps teams
• Implementation of security guidelines (RBAC, Secrets, Network Policies)
• Implementation of container and image standards

• Completed vocational training in the IT field or comparable professional experience
• Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience or 2 years of relevant professional experience after graduation
• Extensive IT knowledge in the Linux server environment
• Fundamental networking knowledge
• Database know-how
• Very good knowledge in container orchestration with Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of cloud and container architectures
• Knowledge in CI/CD mechanisms and deployment strategies
• Experience in the DevSecOps environment
• Willingness to learn new topics
• Basic ITIL knowledge (Change/Incident/Problem Management)
• Team player, as well as independent working style and analytical mindset, as well as high problem-solving competencies
• Fluent German and good English skills
