Senior Backend Engineer - Go

Talon.One seeks a Senior Backend Engineer with over 6 years of experience in Go for our Berlin team. The role involves collaboration with product managers, mentorship, and leading feature development in a cross-functional team.

• Be a crucial member in a small cross-functional team (a squad)
• Collaborate closely with Product Manager and Tech Lead
• Contribute effectively during all Scrum rituals and engineering best practices
• Provide valuable inputs during Refinement and Solution Design sessions
• Regularly participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Monitor maintenance of quality standards and recommend improvements
• Offer technical guidance to Junior engineers
• Participate in cross-squad brainstorming sessions
• Propose and own technical initiatives toward performance improvements

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Developer focusing on Golang
• In-depth knowledge of REST API design and PostgreSQL
• Experience building scalable large-scale applications
• Strong implementation of modern best practices
• Big-picture thinking in collaborating with non-developers
• Proactive and constructive support for junior members
